Dean Rusk Middle School is a public school in Canton, Georgia, for students in grades 7-8. It was named in honor of Dean Rusk, who served as secretary of state for John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson.
According to the School Improvement Plan for 2006-2007, 882 students are enrolled, with 108 staff members.[2] The school is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC).
