Dean Pay

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dean Pay (born in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian former professional rugby league player for the Canterbury Bulldogs, Parramatta Eels, New South Wales and for the Australian national side.

Instrumental in the Bulldogs' success during the early 1990s, Pay was a skillful ball-playing forward and an especially strong defender. In a defining moment during the 1995 semi-finals campaign, Pay broke the ribs of star Brisbane forward Glenn Lazarus in the opening moments of the match, thereby ruining the Broncos' premiership ambitions.
