deafplanet is the first television series and website created in American Sign Language (ASL). It was created by marblemedia in collaboration with the Canadian Cultural Society of the Deaf. The series has won numerous international awards for its groundbreaking use of ASL on screen with both deaf and hearing actors, and for an outstanding website featuring an ASL cursor and full ASL videos
The tv series aired in Canada on TVOntario, Access Alberta, SCN and the Knowledge Network.
