IMDb profile |
Deadly Heroes is a direct to video 1994 action film starring Michael Paré, Jan Michael Vincent and Billy Drago and is directed by Menahem Golan. It is notable for being one of the final films released under Golan's 21st Century Film Corporation banner as the company went bankrupt shortly thereafter and is also one of the final films where actor Jan Michael Vincent has a starring role as he was involved in a serious car accident not long after filming this movie.
The film has spent numerous times on IMDB's bottom 100 list and is quite noticeably filmed on a very small budget, the films primary filming location is in Israel and to save budget costs a lot of the chase scenes are used from director Golan's 1991 release Killing Streets (also starring Pare), the movie also has a very similar feel to Golan's earlier and more successful film The Delta Force.
