Deadline were a 4 piece Rock band from Yorkshire, England formed in 1999 and disbanded in 2005 by change of name to Crimes of Passion. Members were Kris Hudson-Lee (Bass Guitar), Andy Lindsay (Guitar), Dale Radcliffe (Vocals 2005) and Kev Tonge (Drums 2002-2005).
They were formed from the merging of two bands - Rotherham band Promise and Doncaster band Joe Lazarus.
The band secretively changed its name in 2005 to become Crimes of Passion to record a new EP, released under the same name.
Previous members ware Steve Lunn (Vocals 1999-2005) and Christian Hayes (Drums 1999-2002).
[edit] Tour History
Deadline became stalwarts of many tours throughout their career, playing such venues as Jilly's Rock World, Sheffield Corporation & Sheffield Boardwalk, JB's, Crewe Limelight Club and Camden Underworld, supporting Bob Catley Danger Danger and Ten, supporting tours with Tyketto, Mike Tramp, Jeff Scott Soto and Firehouse.
Towards the end of their career as Deadline, they became targets of much ridicule over the number of supporting tours they seemingly bought and this was to become the major fuel to force the changes which brought about Steve Lunn's resignation as vocalist immediately after the 2005 Danger Danger supporting tour.
