Dead hedge

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A dead hedge is a barrier construced from cut branches, saplings and foliage, usually to provide an enclosure for the storage of livestock.[1]

Dead hedges are useful in conservation, as they offer shelter for small animals and especially birds.[2]
