Born in Versailles, Kentucky, Deacon The Villain is a producer/rapper/singer and one third of hip hop group CunninLynguists. Also a member of the production duo, A Piece of Strange Music, Deacon has worked with Lil Scrappy, Cee-Lo Green, Big Rube, Devin The Dude, Witchdoctor, KRS-One, D12's Bizarre, King Tee as well as Kentucky artists such as Rob Jackson and Bonafide Circle. The son of a reverend, his ear for melody and church trained voice have also landed him hook work for Ruff Ryders, Sean Price and more.
