[edit] Fletcher Building paternoster
A little off-topic, but I wondered if anyone here can confirm whether or not there is still a paternoster in the Fletcher Building? Please see Talk:Paternoster. Thanks, JRawle (Talk) 22:45, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] University ratings
(I'm posting this to all articles on UK universities as so far discussion hasn't really taken off on Wikipedia:WikiProject Universities.)
There needs to be a broader convention about which university rankings to include in articles. Currently it seems most pages are listing primarily those that show the institution at its best (or worst in a few cases). See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Universities#University ratings. [edit] External links
I have ejected the links below frim the main article as being in violation of WP:EL. If these are refences to contents in the main article, they should be included as such, in a format acceptable to WP:FOOT.
- Former Soviet nuclear weapons designers study about cultural awareness in Leicester - a place their warheads were once aimed at.
- Scientists develop weed that reduces Third World poisoning.
- Female underwear made from fibres from nettles developed by Textiles Department.
- Photography student takes pictures of discarded kebab wrappers for a project.
- Eddie the Eagle Edwards graduates with a 2:2 in Law.
- Bra developed with electrodes.

[edit] Another DMU
I was wondering whether I should add something about a fictional university that has the same name by coincidence. This one is in the United States, and it is the setting of Vince Suzukawa's The Class Menagerie. All SMiles 13:44, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] DMU Pharmacy Scandal
This scandal made news in Leicester in 2006 so i thought it should be added. However i think that it might be a bit overly critical on DMU and its actions. Please feel free to tidy it up abit and add DMU's rebuttal/POV. Thanks. MSP4REALMF 19:31, 5 June 2007
