The statistical district (lightgreen) of De Woude in the municipality of Castricum.

De Woude (52°33′N, 4°46′E) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Castricum, and lies about 9 km south of Alkmaar. Until January 1, 2002, De Woude belonged to the municipality of Akersloot.

The statistical district "De Woude" has a population of around 140.[1] This includes the hamlet Stierop, south of the village of De Woude.
