The De Queen and Eastern Railroad (AAR reporting marks DQE) is a Class III short-line railroad headquartered in De Queen, Arkansas.
DQE operates a 45.3 mile line in Arkansas from De Queen (where it interchanges with both Kansas City Southern and Texas, Oklahoma and Eastern Railroad, the latter an affiliate with whom it shares its headquarters) to Perkins, Arkansas (where it interchanges with Union Pacific).
DQE traffic generally consists of forest products, gypsum board, grain, and paper.
DQE was incorporated in 1900. It is a subsidiary of Weyerhaeuser Company.
