De Loach Vineyards was started in 1976 by Cecil and Christine De Loach, and was one of the first wineries established in the Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California.[1]
Cecil De Loach ran into financial difficulties in the late 1990's. The winery's peak production was 250,000 cases. In 2003, De Loach Vineyards filed bankruptcy.[2] The Boisset family of Burgundy, France purchased De Loach.[3]
