De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig ("The Youth of Today") is a Dutch hiphop and R&B act based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, renowned for their irreverent, humorous musical approach, lyrical flirting with languages other than Dutch and propagating several neologisms, most notably the word "watskeburt".

The group is comprised of Vieze Fur ("Dirty Fur") a.k.a. Vieze Freddie ("Dirty Freddie") or Baksteen ("Brick") (real name Freddie Tratlehner), P. Fabergé a.k.a. P. Dronq or Peppie (real name Pepijn Lanen) and Willie Wartaal (Wartaal means "gibberish" or "ravings") (real name Ollicio Locadia). All tracks on the group's debut album Parels voor de Zwijnen ("Pearls Before Swine") were produced by Bas Bron.

In the Netherlands they are known for their novelty hit single "Watskeburt?!", which topped the Dutch Top 40 for several weeks in 2005. Subsequent single releases include Voorjekijkendoorlopen ("Lookinfrontofyoukeeponwalking") and the Christmas-themed Ho Ho Ho.

In July 2006, the group was featured on the song Poes in de Playboy ("Pussy in the Playboy") of the Dutch ska/reggae band Luie Hond. In May 2007, they released the single Shenkie.

Their second album, titled De Machine ("The Machine"), was released on April 25, preceded by the single Hollereer on April 4.
