[edit] The Block

[edit] Request

I would like to get unblocked asap. Crew29 22:33 11, October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Huh?

I'm afraid your request confuses me a little. If you can leave a message on my talk page (which you did), you aren't blocked, right? — Dan | Talk 22:42, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Unblocked

I unblocked the two IP addresses used by your old username, so now you should be okay as long as you don't try to edit under your old name (in which case the IP addresses will automatically be blocked again). Regards — Dan | Talk 22:52, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Warm Springs

Hi. Thanks for starting the Warm Springs, Nevada article. I tarted the article up a bit, and left a question at Talk:Warm Springs, Nevada. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 23:46, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Short articles

Hi! While short articles are welcome, they need to be more than a single, incomplete sentence and an external link. These are generally speedy-deleted for lack of content. Thanks! - Lucky 6.9 21:13, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Photo at RFK

Dear CAF,

As you may know there is constant changing on wheter to put the D.C. United photo or the Washington Nationals photo on the top at RFK, I have noticed that you have put the "ballpark" picture up, but it gets changed in a matter of days. I strongly think there should be a vote on this. If you agree, go to my talk page and leave a message. Thank you! ColumbusCrew29 23:31, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi, Columbus. I don't think it makes any sense to have a vote on this — the baseball picture is clearly the better picture as far as image quality and clarity goes. I don't care whether it's a soccer or a baseball picture at the top, but it should be the best picture, and right now, the Nationals one is obviously superior. If someone wants to contribute a high-quality soccer picture under the GFDL, I'd have no problem at all with it going at the top of the article. —Cleared as filed. 02:00, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: RFK

CAF,

I agree with you on the images (their quality). I was just getting a little annoyed by the constant changing of the top image. Crew29 21:53, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Reason for wanting to delete Antarctica national football team

I noticed that the article for the Antarctica national football team was put up for deletion. However, it has a link to a non-existant page to discuss the deletion. I would like to know what the reason for deletiong the article is, because I think it would be a good article to keep on Wikipedia. --Willy No1lakersfan (Talk - Contribs) 15:19, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Southwestern Youth Association

DCUnitedFan2011, I proposted this article for deletion. I felt that as described, it sounds like a standard youth sports league, which every town in America has. If it can be expanded or is not a standard youth sports league, please describe further. This is a matter for concensus and therefore it will not automatically be deleted. Please reply to me if you have any questions. Regards, Daysleeper47 13:49, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AfD Nomination: Bus Route 12

An editor has nominated the article Bus Route 12 for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bus Route 12. Add four tildes like this ~~~~ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article Bus Route 12 during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Jayden54Bot 17:59, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Oregon State Pharmacy Association

Hi there. I saw that you created this article but it doesn't really establish any notability or importance about the subject. As an OSU student myself, I don't like deleting anything related to OSU without a discussion first, but as is this article could probably be speedy deleted. I suggest you make some additional edits to the article to establish notability and/or importance, or the article is likely to be speedy deleted soon. Thanks, VegaDark 23:37, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "preventing me from helping"

Decline reason: "You have not been blocked directly. Please follow the instructions below. - auburnpilot talk 20:18, 4 April 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

I am very confused by what is going on on this page. I am just observing CAT:RFU listings. Your talk page is there at this moment. Can you provide an explanation or chronology of your username history? Furthermore, impersonating an administrator could get you in trouble. Since you don't seem to have a history of problematic behavior and I see no warnings (especially last warnings), I would guess that unless you have done something you should sit tight until things clear up. There may be an issue with your usernames and the IP Address you are using. A clear explanation may be helpful, especially if you think you may be at an IP Address that is likely to have been blocked based on other IDs. I am not an admin. I am just trying to be helpful. [edit] Clearing an autoblock

Please note that we cannot unblock you at this time because you have not given us the information we need to look into your block. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. If you are prevented from editing, it may be because you are autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. Without further details there is nothing further we can do to review your block or lift it. If you are still autoblocked by the time you read this message, please follow these instructions:

  1. If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are.
If it isn't, try bypassing your web browser's cache.
  2. Try to edit the Sandbox.
  3. Copy the {{unblock-auto|...}} code generated for you under the "Autoblocked?" section.
  4. Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page and click save.

If you are not blocked from editing the sandbox then the autoblock on your IP address has already expired and you can resume editing. - auburnpilot talk 20:18, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Please read and follow the instructions above -- you can't generate the {{unblock-auto}} parameters manually, so please don't try to. Instead, try to edit any page other than this talk page, which should get you the "you're blocked" message -- at that point, find the "Autoblocked?" section and copy-paste the code produced for you. It will be tempting to tinker, but please, please, just copy and paste. Thanks. – Luna Santin (talk) 22:12, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). [edit] Speedy deletion of Template:User DCUnited

A tag has been placed on Template:User DCUnited requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).
