Douglas R. W. Craven (b. 1964, Wallaceburg, Ontario. Resides in Whitby, Ontario) Canadian playwright and teacher, with work published by Playscripts Inc. His plays include: Monkey Do (A Gorilla Love Triangle), Stand Centre Stage and Bark!, BreakFast, Bert's Golf Pants, Reflex Action and Life Line. Craven has been described as being fascinated by the comic possibilities of tragedy. His influences include Samuel Beckett, Harold Pinter, and Tom Stoppard. He currently resides in Whitby.
