dcljr is a math tutor who was born in 1969 and now lives in Austin, Texas.

I have a B.S. in Mathematics and M.S. in Statistics (actually, an ABD in the latter — never pass up an opportunity to point that out ;). I also have an interest in the various sciences and humanities, but no special credentials...

If you know another dcljr online, it's probably me. I have a sizable website and admin a mailing list.

Since making my first edit to Wikipedia as a logged-in user on December 23, 2002, I've edited Wikipedia enough to get into the List of Wikipedians by number of edits. I'm almost surely not there at the moment because most of my wiki activities have moved to other, less developed wikis.

I've also been known to contribute to the other Wikimedia sister projects.

Please see User:Dcljr/Contributions.

[edit] In development

I'm currently working on a few long-term projects. Please do not edit these pages. Comments and questions should be directed to my talk page.

I also have a personal sandbox where I sometimes go for extended testing of ideas, to avoid interruption by other users' edits.

[edit] Licensing of contributions

Released into public domain
I agree to release my text and image contributions, unless otherwise stated, into the public domain. Please be aware that other contributors might not do the same, so if you want to use my contributions under public domain terms, please check the multi-licensing guide.

In case the above disclaimer is considered legally meaningless, I offer the following:

All rights released to all contributions
I agree to release all rights, unless otherwise stated, to all my contributions (both text and images) to the English Wikipedia, enabling anyone to use them for any purpose. Please be aware that other contributors might not do the same, so if you want to use my contributions under free use terms, please check the Multi-licensing guide.

Note: The licensing statements above do not apply to edits made to this page (User:Dcljr) nor to any subpage of it (e.g., User:Dcljr/Statistics), nor to any talk page. In those cases, the usual licensing rules apply. - dcljr 00:55, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)
