The plan is to make new Dragon Ball Saga articles.

The Saiyan saga is the first saga of the second part of the manga and anime, Dragon Ball. It details the arrival of three Saiyans that arrive on earth to take it over.

The saga picks up 3 years after the defeat of Piccolo where a alien who is later found to be named Raditz lands on Earth. Raditz soon encounters Piccolo in a case of mistaken identity. After displaying his immense power to a dumbstruck Piccolo, Raditz finds the person he is looking for; Kakarot (Son Goku). Raditz tells Goku that he is a member of the nearly extinct Saiyan Race and that he is his brother.
