[edit] Congratulations!
Congratulations on making it into the Telegraph Herald. Keep up the good work. And I saw you were in the Hempstead class of '05? Me too. Go 'Stangs. stemperm 16:02, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
The TH ran an article about Wikipedia and its accuracy. They looked at the pages about Dubuque and said they were quite accurate. Then they talked about you:
An anonymous author named "DBQer," for example, penned Wikipedia entries ranging from Asbury Plaza to Mazzuchelli Middle School. "I began writing/editing articles late last year," DBQer wrote on a user page, "and most of my contributions have been related to Dubuque, or places near and within it." The author called DBQer vows to maintain accuracy and admits to being inspired by Dubuque's recent development. "The city has really come into its own in the last couple years," DBQer wrote.
Here is a link that may or may not work for you: http://www.thonline.com/article.cfm?id=179813 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stemperm (talk • contribs) 23:00, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Great Job!
You have done a great job editing things about and around Dubuque, and taken some nice pictures. Thanks.

[edit] Additional tips
Here's some extra tips to help you get around in the 'pedia!
- If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
- You can sign your name using three tildes, like ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too.
- If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
Happy Wiki-ing. Kaz

Your work on Dubuque is very nice. I especially like the picture of Lincoln Avenue. Keep up the good work. Stemperm
[edit] Image:DowntownFestival2.JPG listed for deletion
An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:DowntownFestival2.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. BigrTex 22:40, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:DiamondJoLogo.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:DiamondJoLogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 21:31, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:RJ121.JPG. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:RJ4.JPG. The copy called Image:RJ4.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 23:00, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Message supporting article
Thanks for your message of support in favor of keeping the article for balance on teachers. As you can see, it will not fare well. So I particularly appreciated your kind message. I hope the end result here is the elimination of all articles targeting the miscreants on the low end of the totem pole. To tell the truth, this was dreadful stuff to chronicle. Not something to which I looked forward to doing! So, in a way, I am looking forward to it's end and perhaps the end to all similar articles as well. Just wanted you to know how much I appreciated your taking the time to post that note! Student7 16:47, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:DiamondJo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:DiamondJo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:35, 7 March 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 02:35, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
