Daytona Beach College is a four year college located in Daytona Beach, Florida in the United States. Known for its photography and nursing programs, the school now offers two four year bachelor degrees in nursing and Management Information Services.
DBC is the current home of the renowned Southeast Museum of Photography and the college is also involved in a joint-partnership program with Volusia County and Flagler County school districts known as the Advanced Technology Center. The Advanced Technology Center provides high school students in their junior and senior years the ability to dual-enroll and receive college credits. The main areas of studies are Computer Technology, Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Automotive Services.
Recently, the college has expanded its course load and earning accreditation to offer Bachelor of Applied Science degrees. Creating the formally "two year" school and making it a "four year" school.
DBC has a NJCAA program with Softball, Baseball, Women's Golf, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball teams. Women's golf are currently defending three time NJCAA National Champions. (As of 4/28/2006). Three of the five athletic teams earned a cumulative GPA of at least 3.1. Fifteen of the student athletes earned Academic All-Americans (NJCAA) for having GPA's over 3.6 for the academic year and five student athletes earned Distinguished Academic All-American (NJCAA) for having a cumulative GPA over 3.6 for both years.

Of the 28 community colleges, DBC has the 7th highest capture rate of local high school graduates(37.0%). DBC’s Associate of Arts Program has the 7th highest retention rate and the 6th highest success rate among Florida's 28 community colleges. Of the DBC AA graduates who continue within the State University System, 74 percent transfer to the University of Central Florida. Seventy-four percent of all AA graduates who transfer to the state university system, maintain a GPA of at least 2.5.
