Dayaram Ashram

Dayaram Ashram situated in Nanadiya, Junagadh is pilgrimage place where hundreds of people visit daily. The place is famous because of Saint Dayaram. His life span is between 1890-1957, was born in village Nanadiya in a poor farmer Patel family. He was follower of Lord Rama and has passed many years of his life in Girnar. He then established an ashram in Sondarda village near Keshod. By persistent pursuation of villagers and generous donation in Nanadiya, he settled in the village in mid fifties and established madhi which is now famous as Dayaram Ashram. 25th December is celebrated every year in madhi. It has a small garden, a trough and wind mill to pull water. Prof. Sapovadia has archived relevant detail for Dayaram Ashram, Nanadiya. The ashram has turned as social point for people from the village and community at large. Late Chhaganbhai Sapovadia, the founder trustee has build strong and sustainable foundation for the social service for the community in general and youth in special.
