IMDb profile |
DaySide was an American news/talk show on the Fox News Channel, hosted by Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy, which aired weekdays at 1:00 p.m. ET.
The program differed largely from other shows on the network with the hosts having more enthusiastic personalities, in addition to having a live audience giving reaction throughout the program. The program featured correspondents and analysts giving the latest information and perspective on the stories of the day. The show had a format similar to former CNN show Talkback Live.
The program's last broadcast aired on September 22, 2006, and was replaced by The Live Desk with Martha MacCallum[1]. DaySide's future was questioned with the announcement of a new morning television show to be aired on the FOX O&O stations in January 2007 [2], which is hosted by Jerrick and Huddy.
DaySide was previously hosted by Linda Vester, who left on a one-year maternity leave in July 2005, but was said not to be returning to the network.
