DayBreak Quartet
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Daybreak Quartet is a Southern Gospel quartet formed from the One-A-Chord Trio that was founded in 1991 at a Christian college in the state of Florida when one person starting singing a song under his breath, and another heard the song and joined in. This soon became a quartet. The group performed primarily a capella numbers for on-campus events for the next four years. After graduation, they moved to Stockbridge, Georgia and began singing in area churches. In 1999, the quartet began traveling full-time and now presents about 125 concerts a year.
The Daybreak Quartet has traveled from coast-to-coast as well as trips to Sydney, Australia during the 2000 Summer Olympics and Fraserburgh, Scotland in 2007. They have appeared at the International Barbershop Quartet Convention and the Northwest Youth Conference. They have also appeared on Gospel Music Television.
