Daxing'anling Prefecture

Daxing'anling Prefecture (Chinese: 大兴安岭地区; Pinyin: Dàxīng'ānlǐng Dìqū) is a prefecture under Heilongjiang. It is located in the northern-most part of China. Its area is 46,755 sq km, population 520,000. It is named after Greater Khingan.
