I want to include the software that was used to make this demo in the article Here is a (partial?) list

  • Alias/Wavefront Maya (Modeling, texturing, and animation)
  • Simon Green’s hair combing tool (Hair creator)
  • Eugene D’Eon’s tool (this is an Occlusion generator)
  • House of Moves (the community that captured the motion)
  • Demo Engine (real time engine)

This should be included but I have no info on how some of this software works and how it was used to make the demo I also feel that the specific version of Maya should be noted (version 2.5 of Maya and so on)

So for experts of this knowledge please help explain how this software was used to create the demo This list can be found here [1] in the Ogres and Fairies file.

I just revised the line: However, this was the prime attempt to focus extensively on authenticity of human body.

Not sure about the wording but just tried to remove that sex appeal malady over there so to avoid probable edit unfriendliness let me explain my decision here. Suggesting the sex appeal on an art form medium not only could easily degrade audience's intellect but also blemish the work itself in a censuring manner. I think stamping sex appeal on a craftsmanship would be justified if only there were no other qualities to the article and crude sex appeal was implemented as the last resort to attract audience's attention. Considering the vast effort and artistry that were put into this demo and absence of any sexual innuendo, I decided that revisal and I hope everybody is ok with it. Imagine we pull this sex appeal thing on those entire high renaissance nude art works here; that would definitely looks good on an encyclopedia! You are not a competent writer. And your argument is very poor. "Sex appeal" is a relatively benign term. Dawn is squarely aimed at young male masturbators. Her oiled skin, teenage body, and DD cup breasts were not created to arouse the mind. I'm deeply sorry to see the way you've framed your view over this matter. I should've known that all it needed was just one petty line to lay open my writing deficiencies which I'm very much aware of. My attempt was rather to remove a part than putting a better one back and I hoped for a deft writer to cover it. Nevertheless I think I can live with your narrowly chopped down version of Implications.
It appears the "unfriendliness" that I was expecting is having more searing edges than I realized. Well, the grisly imagery you depicted above – pugnacious males, seducing females – has come from the very Nature within we were born million years ago. I'm not a fan and I'm trying with all I have to wipe this ancient survival seal off the framework but, believe me, blaming it on a prosaic evil I can find up for grabs in the corner of my mind would be the last thing in my list. And yes, the term sex appeal is as "benign" as the fact that humankind – specifically the male gender – would start to experiment with his/her own sexuality when young as he/she steps up the ladder of maturity and again, the last thing I might consider would be to paint this tender self-realization process with repulsion and abasing sentiments, letting the seed of shame or aggression rest peacefully inside while having the passing mask of self-respect veiling youthful years.
I consider Wikipedia a place to arouse the mind. It would be a regretful loss filling it with common-or-garden story of how a concept has never been meant to, instead of inspiring young readers by pointing out mind-stimulating aspects of the concept that usually might be left unnoticed in the first glance. Sometimes things need to be pushed to the right direction and for this progress, I truly don't understand how your compliant cynicism would simply make any.
I may have gone too off topic I'm sorry. My writings awful and my arguments poor I know. But the thing that's troubling me right now is the angst I see in your words and it'd be childish to think my incapable words, no matter how I try, would be of any ease to your burden.
