Dawid Jackiewicz (born March 18, 1973 in Wrocław) is a Polish politician. He was elected to Sejm on September 25, 2005 getting 12362 votes in 3 Wrocław district, candidating from Prawo i Sprawiedliwość list. Is, currently involved in crime investigation. His seven years old son and wife were attacked by man, while travelling by bus. When Mr. Dawid arrived at the scene, attacker rushed to his son again, Mr Dawid pushed him off, assailant fell on street and knocked his head on sidewalk. He died few days after that in a hospital. Police find out later that attacker was under influence of alcohol. What is to be just simple although tragic case, of attacker killed by defender situation, had produced a great debate in polish media.
