Dawūd al-Qayṣarī

Dawūd al-Qayṣarī or spelled Dawud al-Qaysari, a son-in-law of Ibn al-‘Arabi. He is known to be the author of Sharh Fusus al-Hikam (Commentary on Ibn Arabi's Fusus al-Hikam), which is still used until today as an important text book in Shiite religious schools and is very influential in the Persian-speaking world.

He was a student of Jandi.

He died in 751 AH / 1351 AD.
