[edit] AfD

Thanks for your message. I don't know how to restore an AfD, but I will ask an administrator how to go about doing it. I will post a message on your talk page when it's accomplished. -Amatulic 15:08, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Hello, I moved your comment to Talk:Master of Business Administration for now. I'm not all that happy with reopening the AfD for a non-deletion decision (since clearly no one wants the article deleted). If you want outsiders to look at it, you can ask at Wikipedia:Third opinion, or simply set up a straw poll at the talk page and inform the Business and Economics project. ~ trialsanderrors 18:38, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

I have just put the piece forward for a third opinion. A redirect is in all purposes the same as deletion, as although the history may be saved, no one will see it, and no one will have the opportunity to update it. If someone does a search for MBA Rankings, chances are that they know what an MBA is, and they are hoping to find an article somewhat like the one that is being bypassed by this redirect Daviegold 22:09, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

It isn't because the information is still available, albeit in a different location. ~ trialsanderrors 01:00, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Apology

I put the following text in Talk:Master of Business Administration, but it's more appropriate for a personal page, so I'm putting it here instead.

Daviegold, thank you for your graciousness. I must also apologize to you for two things: (1) For being less civil than I should have; I hope you will pardon my impatience. (2) For failing to inform you of the AfD and withdrawing it before you had a chance to comment - had it run a couple more days you would have seen it and the stress of arguing about a reversion war would have been avoided. I realize that you probably don't log into Wikipedia every day like I do. So please accept my apology for both transgressions. I'll go ahead and remove the Wikipedia:Third opinion plea. -Amatulic 01:38, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
