I have restored the article as well although, truthfully, unless more substantial material is added, I don't think being a Chevalier alone is enough to merit a biographical article. Nor do I think you're the best judge considering your conflict of interest in starting an autobiographical article. I'm going to nominate it for Articles for Deletion.
