[edit] Why did you tag my page for deletion?
If you've come here because of a deletion tag I've placed on a page in error, I offer my profuse apologies.
You see, Wikipedia gets spammed thousands of times per hour with content that is nonsensical, purely advertising or self-promotion, entirely non-notable, or blatant vandalism. I frequently patrol the Recent Changes page, looking for such things. I may have seen your article and assumed it fell within one of the four categories listed above (Nonsense, advertising or self-promotion, non-notable, or vandalism).
If I am incorrect in this assumption, just add the {{hangon}} tag below my {{db}} tag. I'm more than happy to help you welcome your article or information to Wikipedia. I'll be glad to work with you to keep other editors from making the same mistake.
Either way, I offer my profuse apologies for making this experience a difficult one for you, and hope that it has not thrown a damper on your interest in being a Wikipedia editor. If you have any further questions or need any help, feel free to contact me by leaving a message below.
[edit] What do you mean by that strange group of letters?
I love my acronyms! See a list of them (updated moderately often) at User:David/Ac.
Thank you!

[edit] Transcend Tsonic
Hey dude, can you tell me, what I need to do in order to wikify the Transcend T.sonic article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rsrikanth05 (talk • contribs) 04:16, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks agian mate. Rsrikanth05 05:29, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
What else do I need to add as the article is being proposed for deletion. --Rsrikanth05 08:36, 13 October 2007 (UTC) Is it okay if I upload all the images, under the GNU GPL, and submit it to the Image team for adding transparency. I have added a list of models, and I will shortly be adding, the features just like all other PMP's have on their page. Also you said delete and merge, what is that supposed to mean? --Rsrikanth05 18:34, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

Can someone add the article to the Transcend Page. It is in my userspace now.--07:23, 15 April 2008 (UTC)07:23, 15 April 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.72.148.198 (talk)
[edit] Thanx for the help =D
Addy-g-indahouse has smiled at you! Smiles promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by smiling at someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Happy editing!

[edit] WikiProject Nintendo Page Redesign
A new page design is being considered for the WikiProject Nintendo page. A rough draft can be viewed here. Please add all comments and thoughts to the discussion. From the automated, Anibot 22:42, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Since you started the process, here is my contribution. I would like to take it a step further.
A tag has been placed on Diablo III, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under WP:CSD, this is "No content" and "No context". Blizzard has not announced a single thing. Nada. Nothing. Not even a strong hint. Obviously they will make the game eventually... but this is an encyclopaedia, not a rumour mill and not a forum.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
... blah blah and so on and on. The article is highly speculative, as you mentioned to its author. I am no longer a Wikipedian, but hopefully this will get the process started for deleting the stub. It is silly to have it there with no substance whatsoever. I hope you will agree and continue to support your decision in declaring it to have a lack of context.

So, I'll get right down to it. I don't actually know what I am doing where Wikipedia is concerned (though apparently I've been at this since June '06), and I stumbled upon you through "Wikipedians who like Harry Potter." Not to sound creepy-weird, but you and I seem to have a bit in common, and as you seem to have your act together on this whole Wikipedia endeavor, I thought you'd be a nice ally to have when questions arise (as they seem to do so often where I am concerned). If this is really terrifying, I'm sorry: I honestly don't know how to go about anything on here except revert vandalism through Recent Changes and other very simple editing.
Thanks! =/ Ashleyscripter 00:31, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

- Project News
- WikiProject Christianity Coordinators : The project coordinators are generally responsible for maintaining all of the procedural and administrative aspects of the project, and serve as the designated points-of-contact for procedural issues. They are not, however, endowed with any special executive powers, nor with any authority over article content or editor conduct. The Lead Coordinator bears overall responsibility for coordinating the project; the Assistant Coordinators aid the Lead Coordinator and focus on specific areas that require special attention.
- The nomination period for coordinators is currently ongoing at Election 2008
- Nominations for open positions will be open through 23:59 (UTC) on April 30 and project members should vote for any candidates they support by April 11 2008.
- The election will be conducted using simple approval voting. Any member of the project may support as many of the candidates as they wish. The candidate with the highest number of endorsements will become the Lead Coordinator (provided he or she is willing to assume the post); the next four candidates will become Coordinators.

Welcome to the Sixth issue of the WikiProject Christianity newsletter! Use this newsletter as a mechanism to inform yourselves about progress at the project and please be inspired to take more active roles in what we do.
Luckily, you all won't have to see my comments very often, as very little I have to say is really that important. But I would like to take the opportunity to say that I hope everyone finds the new General Forum page useful for discussing ideas relevant to Christianity in general, and feels free to make any additional comments regarding general Christianity there. Also, if any of you feel that you want to place a comment here in the future, please let us know what you want included. We would encourage all members to get more involved and if you are wondering what with, please ask. Use this newsletter as a mechanism to inform yourselves about progress at the project and please be inspired to take more active roles in what we do.
