Request:

In a very blatant paragraph, what exactly do I need to make this source "notable?" The guide for notability is rather confusing to those of us who have not completed their master degree in English. (Not trying to sound cheeky, but having to get brief definitions for words while piecing together what exactly is required is.. challenging)
PuppyGristle 01:17, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Aww, you found the Sloth

haha, yeah, that was a total joke- Ah well. I suppose I have to hold off on a page for him until he rules all humans and is "notable."

Actually, if I note he's a musician, then can I make a page for him? PuppyGristle 01:17, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

If he's notable, sure! =David(talk)(contribs) 05:32, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

If this is about an edit that I have made to an article or talk page:

I strive as hard as I can to make sure my edits are solid, encyclopedic, and as free from factual and grammatical error as possible. When I make a mistake, please let me know about it! I promise, I won't flame your talk page or vandalize your user page. I strive to be civil, and I ask that if I'm not, you call me on it.

Thanks!

It's cool

No harsh feelings, I can imagine all the bull you guys are plagued with. Just.. really late at night to be reading about self-advertising and notability. G'night, nice speaking with you. PuppyGristle 07:15, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

PS: Can I remove the "we're gonna delete your page!!" tag now? PuppyGristle 07:21, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

No need, I already did. I replaced the tags with the Wikify and Notability tags, which give you more time in which to clean up and finish establishing the notability of the article. Sorry about the confusion - Good luck, and thanks for being a good sport! =David(talk)(contribs) 07:41, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

Your edit to The Legend of Zelda (series)

It is a good idea to check the history of an article before making a change. The edit before yours of The Legend of Zelda (series) was an anon that deleted part of a sentence. Your edit deleted the remaining words from the original phrase. I restored the article to before the anon, and left a {{uw-delete1}} on their talk page. -- wrp103 (Bill Pringle) (Talk) 19:38, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

WikiProject Harry Potter roll-call

Hi there. Your username is listed on the WikiProject Harry Potter participants list, but we are unsure as to which editors are still active on the project. Your name has therefore been moved to a "potentially inactive" list. If you still consider yourself an active WikiProject Harry Potter editor, please move your name from the Potentially inactive list to the Active Contributors list. You may also wish to add {{User WP Harry Potter}} to your userpage, if you haven't done so already. Conversely, if you do not wish to be considered a member of the WikiProject, leave your name where it is and it will be moved to the Inactive Contributors section. If you wish to make a clean break with the Project you may move your name to the Known to have left section. Many thanks.
Recorded for posterity: I did, in fact, move to the active list. =David(talk)(contribs) 21:14, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

oh, one more thing, ive seen that there is a page on differential calculus, and i saw that the solutions, laws and proofs are WAY WAY to complicated. I can write such laws in a way such that the reader will be able to understand them, without the aid of a rocket scientst =p. Is it possible for me to create new article called "differentiation for the lower tier" or somthing along those lines, containing the same proofs, forlumae and laws, but made easier such that the reader can understand them?

The same is true with the buffon's needle article-(which is an experiment used to find pi). I have another proof for it, but im not too sure if the proof is already on the page -(im unable translate such symbols-they dont teach such things yet down under!). the proof i have is MUCH MUCH more complete and less complicated, also with the aid of a diagram or two. Is it possible if i could add another section to the article -(buffon's needle) with that proof?

Back to the Future: The Ride

hello david

from the way this pans out i would like to say one thing

ok yes none of us know who is the last timetravel to ride the ride in florida but that becuase it was so poorly done the closure if you were apart of the event in hollywood like i was with 13 people you would know how hard it was for guests not to move trying to be the last person on the ride i hace pictures aswell i also could back it up with a man that actuly worked on the ride which his name is david cobb you could see his picture and his name on the ride during pre show. we all met him during the last day

as the story goes Irma Giron was the last and final guest to the public and why tha should be on the wkipedia page is becuase about an hour after 8:00 pm there was stll people not moving into the ride they had to get security into it and as it so happens when she got intervied by fox 11, nbc, abc, she was noted into saying that she was the first to ride the ride as pre she has a paper signed by 9 of the ride operaters stating this fact and she was the last to ride as a public guests

if we had information about the one in orlando by all means they could go ahead and write it in there but becuase they dont and even though they did they probly can not back it up with evidence like irma giron can how do i know becuase i was the third to last next bing a man by the name of chuck goodman. who you could also see in the interview on fox 11, nbc and abc

the public needs to know who actuly was the nice one to say hey everybody if your not going to ride the ride then i will go in front of you and ride it but then when the bttf head master saw us and recognized her and recognised she said come here put her at the end of the line and all of it is history

if you go to bttf.com website you will see pictures and the fact that universal studios actuly gave them the last ride no kidding. the the bttf forum people actul had a chance to ride the last ride and irma giron was the last onei could show you the copy and signitures that they gave her for being the last guest to ride i could back it up with prrof and also say yeas they dont have a person wrote but as a wikipedia writer we ould also say that at this time we have no clue who rode the last ride at universal studios florida

thank you and have a nice day —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.205.30.139 (talk) 14:21, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

i like this sentence thank you Specifically, as the last member of the public to ride the ride, she is a piece of trivia

its per guidline and i will follow thank you but i will still be trying in other places i might not be irma giron but i would like it to be publised —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.205.30.139 (talk) 14:35, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
