[edit] Welcome

Hey David. If you remember me, I'm Occams_Razor on iidb. We've posted to a few of the same threads. I just happened to see your post to atheism (what a shocker, two users from iidb making edits to an article on atheism). I see you're pretty new here. If you need any help, just drop me a line on my talk page. I am posting a standard welcome template below, which has a bunch of useful links. --Fuhghettaboutit 04:34, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

Hello David Mills, and welcome to Wikipedia! Here are some recommended guidelines to help you get involved. Please feel free to contact me if you need help with anything. Best of luck and happy editing! Fuhghettaboutit 04:34, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Getting Started
Getting your info out there
Getting more Wikipedia rules
Getting Help
Getting along
Getting technical
Ha! If you could see the attempts of many newcomers here on their first article... There's a lot to know here about the technical aspects of things--placing pages in appropriate categories, stub tags, wiki formatting, image markup, copyright tagging, article style convention and the numerous policies that are taken into consideration in article treatment, to name a few. A really good place to start is the Wikipedia:Tutorial. Again, if you have a technical (or other) issue, feel free to ask me. By the way, you signed you post to me by typing your name out. An easier and more useful way of signing posts is to type four tildes (~~~~). This automatically formats your username as a clickable link and leaves a date and time stamp. I am responding to you on my user talk page, but I am also placing this on your user talk page so you get the "you have new messages" notification. I find this site utterly addictive (and a noble venture) and have pretty much stopped posting at iidb. Responding for the umpteenth time to--"you people just hate god," or "how can evolution be true--no human has ever given birth to a monkey" was starting to give me agita.--Fuhghettaboutit

Hi David, and Welcome to Wikipedia. I hope you like the place and will decide to stay. However, without wishing to dampen your enthusiasm in any way, it might be as well for you to read this first! Please take care.—Laurence Boyce 16:02, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:Atheist_Universe.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Atheist_Universe.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Atheist Universe.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Atheist Universe.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:28, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
