[edit] Massacres in Algeria

You should have a look at what a genocide is, the events in Algeria could be described as massacres but not genocide. In addition I don't think this is an issue to be debated on the article France, you are welcome to create an article on to create an article on the subject, but you should expect a lot of controversy. As far as I know France as hasn't been indicted for genocide before an international court of justice for these events. You just repeat what president Abdelaziz Bouteflika says about the matter, but he does not have very good records for human rights and certainly some political agenda. Your sources from Turkey are not very reliable either, has this country has appaling human rights records, although it is definitely moving in the right direction. If you were to insist on keeping a reference on the atrocities commited by French army in Algeria, which I'm not denying (I'm denyiing the qualification as genocide); it should be fair that you write something about the Armenian genocide commited by the Ottoman Empire on the Turkey page, the massacres of the Mau Mau in Kenya and Amritsar massacre on the United Kingdom page and probably maybe more. I suppose you will find a lot of resistance. Blastwizard 10:26, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Just to tell you that I replied to your message on my talk page. Blastwizard 13:28, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
I also suggest you have a look at the discussion page on Algerian Genocide Blastwizard 14:14, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Please of a look at my answers to your post on my talk page, I am deeply disturbed by your biased point of view on the events you are writing on. You persist in using non neutral point of view, presenting unverified and unverifiable facts on the subject I would suggest you have a closer look at the article on Algerian war of independence, in particular the section on War dead, which is a lot more neutral with all points of view presented in appropriate manner. This is unlike your article, which anyway is a blatant POV fork on the subject, the fact that you recreated the article before the final decision on whether or not to delete your original article is showing your lack of respect and is not considered good manners according to wikipedia etiquette. You should also read my answer to your post on my talk page. If we can not resolve this edit conflict I suggest the sollicitation of an arbitration. Blastwizard 10:34, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Personal attacks and bad-faith AfD nominations

Please do not make personal attacks, like you did on User talk:Vartan84, in the edit summary of this edit: [1], and again on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sedat Laciner. This violates Wikipedia policy. Please read Wikipedia:No personal attacks.

Further, I believe that your recent nominations for deletion of Steven Boghos Derounian and Anna Eshoo were mad in bad faith, to "prove a point". Such behaviour makes it necessary for other editors – and we are all volunteers here – to spend time to clean up the mess for no good reason, although they have nothing to do with the issue that upset you. Please read Wikipedia:Don't disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point.

Please stay cool and realize that you achieve the opposite effect of what you intend to achieve. By defending Turks and Turkish viewpoints in such a way, you create the impression that Turks are fanatical hotheads, instead of the even-handed balanced and always reasonable people they really are. --LambiamTalk 12:00, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Accusations of French genocide against Algerians

I am currently rewriting this article and I saw you were a contributor. I hope you'll appreciate my changes. If you don't agree with me, please come and express your concerns either on my talk page or on the article's talk page. Regards, -- lucasbfr talk 21:01, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] How to make great links

Hi, you seem to have troubles writing intra-wikipedia links :) Just as a reminder, [[article]] allows you to make a link to article, and [[article|title of the article]] links to title of the article. If you want to include a reference to an article, <*ref> reference</ref> should be used (without the '*'). If you want other tips, consider reading Help:Editing or feel free to ask on my talk page. Taking a few seconds to actually look at that instead of just adding links in the middle of the text would be greatly appreciated. Regards, -- lucasbfr talk 15:22, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hello

Hello,

From your previous edits I was quite convinced that you either is Sedat Laciner, or a close, maybe slightly more radical, friend of his. Therefore, this edit confused me alot. Would you care to explain? Bertilvidet 21:23, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Good edit!

Hey, this was a good edit, aferin! According to WP:AUTO writing about yourself or things you are centrally involved in are discouraged. If notable enough, just wait and other people will write it! Good editing! Bertilvidet 11:05, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Btw, I would still appreciate to get a reaction on my above question. Bertilvidet 15:56, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
