ANATOLE ANDREAS VON HUGEL (1854-1928)

An intrepid youthful adventurer, von Hugel left a detailed record of his experiences in Fiji just as it was changing to British colonial rule. Became Curator of Cambridge University Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology 1884-1928. Co-founder of St.Edmund's College, Cambridge.
