DaveVT5 is the online handle for David Catalano, a product marketer by trade and partner at Modea, an interactive advertising agency. Catalano writes for BorderLeap, a blog covering interactive media for product marketers. His personal blog may be found at davidcatalano.com.

Previously, after dropping out of Virginia Tech, Catalano co-founded Nueweb, an interactive company founded in Blacksburg Virginia. The company obtained venture capital funding in mid 2000. Nueweb later changed its name to Exemplum in 2002.
