[edit] Dot maps

Not a dot problem this time, just a dot question. I haven't added the dot maps to the townships in Tioga County because I felt like the townships were too big for the dot. I am trying the dot here, but don't like it. I am looking for feedback. Dot map or not? My vote is not. Dincher (talk) 01:57, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

I always assume not everyone knows where Sullivan County is within Pennsylvania, so I think the dot is useful for highlighting the county. I do prefer just the dot (no little name label beside it) when there is just one dot on a map. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 03:07, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
True, but the PA map with Sullivan County is in the template at the bottom. What about having that PA map in the infobox? I can live with or without the label. Dincher (talk) 03:09, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
I like the maps some couties have, see for example Spring Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 03:39, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
I switched the maps. How does it look now? It's my preference.Dincher (talk) 22:05, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Looks good to me. Thanks - btw, I have seen the Sullivan Co photo requests and will see what I can do. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 22:07, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Covered bridge

I have recently added a pic of a covered bridge to this article. I think I found some info on it here. Is this the correct bridge? Dincher (talk) 21:21, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

  • Very nice pic. I am pretty sure it is the right bride as there are only three covered bridges in Sullivan County. This one is the Sonestown Covered Bridge and is on the NRHP and the form for it is here [1]. It is on my list of bridges to do, but feel free to jump in if you want. I have a picture of it too, but it is not nearly as nice as the one you found, thanks Ruhrfisch ><>°° 21:34, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
