[edit] Honestly, David Wolfe is perhaps the greatest man who ever lived
But this page is crap, by reading this page, i feel embarrassed, the article is pure junk compared to the the real man. We need somebody like super goji girl (David Wolfe's friend) to make the article, soo much stuff to write.
[edit] Clarification
Under the listing of his favorite foods, the wikilinks are ambiguious. It would be much appretiated if there could be some clarification in especially the following.
- Mamey = Mamey sapote or Mammee apple? not 100% sure but probably
- DHA = Docosahexaenoic acid YES
- MSM = Methylsulfonylmethane? YES
- Durian = Durio zibethinus? not 100% sure but probably
Also I am surprized that his list would not include acai berries, as I thought they were superior to blueberries.. or even bilberries rather than blueberries; and also mangosteen, unless his version of mangosteen is mamee apple. ..additionaly there are less green leafy vegetibles listed than I would expect. no spinach or kale? or what about millet or amaranth? ...How accurate is this list in representing his true opinions? --sloth_monkey 23:42, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Ok, the list is HIS FAVORITE FOODS, not your favorite foods.
[edit] Dead links
It would be great if we could have a picture of him on here. Apparently the image was deleted by someone.
Some other dead links are as follows:
- cacao nibs
- celery hearts
- incan berries
- purple corn
- romaine hearts
I'm not trying to complain, just point out. I would actually really appretiate it if someone could remedy all of the above. --sloth_monkey 23:42, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Removal of uncited sections and tags
I removed both the uncited sections (controversy and personal diet) and the three tags challenging the quality and content of the article. My edit is here: [1] - I suggest that the information (particularly the diet section) be sourced before restoration. Without those sections, the article seems neutral enough to justify the removal of the editorial tags. If anyone objects to my edit, can we discuss it here? [edit] A more well rounded article?
I don't know much about David Wolfe, but what I see in this article is that it's primarily based on "controversy" and not a well-rounded description. I see it as very biased. An unbiased article would talk about the person, their growing up years, what they've done in their life and then controvesy. It says a lot if you're basically starting off with the alleged plagerism; it's almost the whole of this article. Tgunby (talk) 05:50, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
