A character in Ken Finkleman's More Tears is a rather obvious (and brutal) parody of Tsubouchi. (The character appears in a scene in a film-within-the-film being made by Finkleman's character, an opponent of the Harris Tories. Out hiking on a nature trail, the "Tsubouchi" character tries to make conversation with two of his fellow Cabinet Ministers with a discussion of moral philosophy. They promptly give him the Deliverance treatment.)
