[edit] more work needed

There are some oddities here. One:

for several years the reservoir, stocked with trout was an important stopping off place for migrating Osprey, but since the trout have gone this is no longer true

Just what does thus tell us about Tipling? (Completely uninformed guess: which at that time was a stopping off place for migrating osprey.) -- Hoary (talk) 07:47, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Fair point. I'll delete...I'll tell you how it happened....I linked Tipling to the resevoir on wiki, the article on the resevoir said it was a stopping off place for Osprey...I then found out that since the trout had gone it was no longer a good birding spot for osprey....! If you're a birder this is interesting, granted its not interesting at all if you're not.Pamela Gardiner (talk) 20:18, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
