Does anyone know whether Rappaport was Jewish? That is typically a Jewish surname, at least in my experience growing up in New York City. If the answer is affirmative, please delete this paragraph and edit the following paragraph by changing "was born in London" to read "was born to a Jewish family in London." I don't find anything definitive on that either way. I found a David Rappaport who is Jewish and the husband of a British comic, but he was obviously not this actor.(For one thing the David I found was living as of 2004) I'm sad to read he died this way. He was a good actor and fairly good in dramatic roles. I think it's kind of hard for dwarf actors to break into dramatic roles in a way. It's vaguely ironic that his degree was in psychology. (Although not really as I've heard of plenty of suicides who had psychology degrees, having depression might even be an encouragement to study it.)--T. Anthony 15:27, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

Was he Jewish? Take a look at his gravesite

[edit] "Depression" link

Somehow I don't think that depression severe enough to result in eventual suicide belongs under Depression (mood). Sounds much more like clinical depression to me. Rlquall 15:23, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:David rappaport publicity.jpg

Image:David rappaport publicity.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:50, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
