at some point between recruit training and first duty station, he had to attend hospital corps school. where and when?Toyokuni3 (talk) 04:05, 16 May 2008 (UTC) this is the second such cmh citation i have encountered on wikipedia where the corpsman's rate was abbreviated wrong. the correct abbreviation for ' hospital corpsman second class' in the 1960's was HM2, not HC2c.i know this because i was one. HC2c is a ww2 abbreviation. in the other article, Donald E. Ballard, the naval historical centre's version of the citation differs considerably, not just in this particular.barring some justifiable objection, i am going to change both of them within the week.Toyokuni3 (talk) 04:15, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
