David MacDonald produced "Luv Bug" Starski's debut EP "Postive Life" on Tayster/Rojac records who is credited by most Rap historians as the originator of the term "Hip Hop". This is a piece of the puzzle in the history of Rap Music. And David MacDonald was there when it all began at "Harlem World" on the corner of 116th and Lenox avenue.

Luv Bug, Grand Master Flash and Cold Crush were the big players in early hip hop.

I would suggest that he is notable enough; however, I can't confirm the details given in his testimonial - I can't find an IMDB record that watches him. Rmhermen 22:14, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Here is an imdb record. I have also added other references to the article. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0531681/

I think this is a contribution to the wiki because it documents Weird Al's national TV debut of "Another one rides the Bus" on the Tom Snyder Show in May, 1981. Which was his first hit.
