There was a reference in the article to Lynch directing a film called "Pleasure and Pain" about the life of singer, songwrite and guitarist, Ben Harper. This isn't true. The film is directed by "Danny Clinch" who makes documentaries about musicians and music, not David Lynch. I confiremd this on IMDB. If "Clinch" is a pseudonym for lynch, then it deserves to be in it's own section about films he has directed under other names.

Many reference to this EGS seems to be advertising. See what links here.

Dropped this from the end of the style sentence:

and remains one of the finest filmmakers in operation.

I agree that his style is instantly recognizable to any serious moviewatcher, but whether he is "one of the finest" is inherently POV.

Dont forget the music in Lynch`s movie its a important factor, anyway I recomend everyone to see Lost Highway.

Movies as "Incomphrensible"

This is a POV. --Daniel C. Boyer 18:28, 26 Sep 2004 (UTC)

By and large, I agree with it being PoV and disagree with the idea that it is incomprehensible. However, it reads rather well and I think that PoV is that of the vast majority of Lynch viewers. Fans such as myself have spent enough time figuring out what they may mean so have at least injected some sort of comprehension into it. How about replacing incomprehensible with abstruse or recondite instead? --MarkB 23:27, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Darkend Room mis-spelled as "Darkened Room"

Yes, the correct name is "Darkend Room". (See IMDB and Lynch's site)

JFK's inauguration?

The article claims that Lynch was an usher at JFK's inauguration at age 7, but those numbers don't jibe. JFK became President in 1960, at which time Lynch would have been fourteen.

Žižek's Art of the Ridiculous Sublime?

I'm a bit surprised that this isn't referenced here, given that Lynch teachs with this book at EGS... Buffyg 22:57, 6 September 2005 (UTC)
