I am very sad that the original author of this article did not mention that Mr. Brwer was a devout Christian and served the One, True God. Brewer once said, "I Believe in Jesus Christ as the great Helper, Comforter and Saviour of humanity, and the Holy Bible as bearing to us the story of his mission, the rules of duty, the Revelation of Eternal Life, and also the conditions under which the attainment of that life are possible. No book contains more truths, or is worthy of confidance than the Bible; none brings more joy to the sorrwing, more strength to the week, or more stimulus to the nobly ambitious; none makes life sweeter, or death easier or less sad." I believe the same.

Your opinions are quite dandy but have no place in an encyclopedia article. If you have a citation for the quote above or some reference for Brewer's religious beliefs--arguably noted based on his published works--please add it. The comment posted above was appropriate for this talk page but not for the article text itself. Thehappysmith 18:28, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
