This section needs sources. While I have no doubt that he has suffered from racism, these accusations need to be attributed to specific sources. Especially when the Crocodile Dundee production is singled out. The section also uses 'many people', 'journals', 'many feel' etc, which are weasel words. These need to be explicit. I couldn't think of a better name for this section. Any ideas? De Guerre 11:52, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Plagiarism

This article is heavily plagiarised from the biography section of Gulpilil's website (http://www.gulpilil.com/biography.htm). While I hesitate to remove the entire article, this should be addressed as soon as possible. J Herington 13:05, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Just thinking out loud. Is there a possibility that the original author of most of the text (204.196.184.168) is also the author (or related to the author) of the gulpilil website? In that case, would it still be considered plagiarism? In other words, I do see the not-so-coincidental similarities, and it may be plagiarism, but could it also have been a helpful hand? Further, there is the direct link to the official website. Cheers! Didgeweb 16:44, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gulpilil today

It's stated that "he is said to have committed the worst of tribal offences" but it isn't clear what these offences might be. Can this be clarified? Widmerpool (talk) 06:55, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
