I would say he is notable because of the medal of honor. Category:Navy Medal of Honor recipients is full of similarly notable persons as are the Army and Marine Corps categories. If you wish to delete I suggest AfD, as this article certainly doesn't qualify for speedy deletion. --Dual Freq 23:52, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
