Talk:David Durand

[edit] Unrelated individual
I have removed the following text from the article, as it is about an entirely different person, with a different name:
- "David G. Durand is a computer scientist known for his work with hypertext, version control systems, document engineering and markup languages. His undergraduate studies were at Brown University, and his Ph.D. (1999) at Boston University. He is currently Adjunct Associate Professor of [http://www.cs.brown.edu Computer Science at Brown University]."
The optimal solution would be to create a new article for this person David G. Durand and then, at the top of this article, add the following:
- This article is about the eighteenth-century British and French historian. For the American computer scientist, see David G. Durand.
However, we don't usually do a blend of articles unless the individuals are known by exactly the same name (e.g. at Dorothea). Geogre 11:34, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
