[edit] Notability

The article does context his notability and habving survived an afd ther community clearly agrees with that so i have removed the notability tag, SqueakBox 17:56, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Previous discussion page content

Coming back to this talk page after several months prompted yesterday via watch list, I notice that significant background materal appears to have been deleted. Certainly there was content here relating to the AFD and that was over 18 months ago. Any ideas? leaky_caldron 16:01, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

See the deletion log for an explanation. The Afd link has been restored as has the BLP info, SqueakBox 18:40, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
but deletion log refers to 38 revisions having been restored. That cannot be. I think that some relevant material to the history of this article has been inadvertently deleted leaky_caldron 14:50, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
El C restored them and FloNight delted them again. I suggest you talk to FloNight or take it to Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents if you have concerns, SqueakBox 15:36, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
I think the point here is to allow David Boothroyd, i.e. user:DavidBoothroyd, to keep his other wikipedia identity private. While this has the air of trying to unscramble eggs, much of the deleted talk page content is trolling of this user. I don't see anything that must be restored in to order to move forward editing the article. I could be persuaded to restore the content, but only after obscuring the user's other account name.
