Parishan can you please show me where it says that the Azeri population was almost completely slaughtered --VartanM 06:34, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

1. The phrase 'almost complete' was not added by me; it's been there all along. So please, hold your horses as far as the 'weasel words' accusation.
2. In the article, the author interchangeably uses the terms 'Azeri' and 'Turkic'. Parishan 07:19, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Parishan, the source says Muslim population, not Turkic Muslim population, your interpretation that they were in fact of Turkic origin is Original research. VartanM 07:54, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
