I feel that this article should not be deleted for two reasons:

(1) At least half a dozen bestselling as well as Hugo and/or Nebula award-winning SF&F authors have recognized Davey's work by participating in his anthology "Writers for Relief." Examples include: Larry Niven, Brian W. Aldiss, Nancy Kress, Joe Haldeman, as well as the longtime editor of Asimovs Science Fiction magazine, Gardner Dozois.

(2) Davey has also been recognized by several popular science fiction conventions as a legitimate author and editor of anthologies. By recognized I mean he was invited to attend for free, was given a "guest author badge" and was included in the programming as part of the entertainment. (I've seen him speak on panels at DragonCon and ConCarolinas.)
