[edit] Possible NPOV?
"At the age of twelve, Considine had a terrifying supernatural experience by seeing a ghost, this altered the course of his life."
Is it just me or does this seem to say that ghosts are real? I would like to believe in ghosts too, but since we can't verify this event, shouldn't we have an "alleged" or some other such ambiguous term so as not to validate the idea that ghosts are real? --Mr Vain 18:25, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Notability
How is Considine notable? He isn't a published author, not a priest or minister. He's a guy with a web site who performs a service, not unlike an exterminator. --Tex 01:02, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
User:NawlinWiki asserts that the reference to the Discovery Channel establishes notability. I can hardly admit that everyone who has ever been on the Discovery Channel should have a Wikipedia article.
Leaving that aside, usually in Wikipedia a television program is referred to by its title and the date of broadcast. We have neither in this article, only the expectation that such a program will be shown.

- What's been going on with this article? The picture was deleted and the article is left with the remains of the picture's captions blowing in the wind. There are three count them three! notices at the top of the page!!! What is up? Why is this article being attacked in this way? Mr. Considine is a notable demonologist in the field. He has appeared in several documetaries and books, he leared his craft from the most noted demonologists in the world the Warrens, he has been the guest on several radio programs including the most popular radio program Coast to Coast. There are only a handful of credible demonologists in the field and Mr. Considine is one of them. Just because you don't have knowledge about him doesn't mean this makes him non-notable. Instead of just slapping notices on the article way don't you do some research and improve it? Dwain 22:16, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- There is a continuing Satanic attempt to remove the bios of Christian demonologists on Wiki. They have done it with Fr. Daniel Garguillio (among others), and now they are attempting the same with Mr. Considine. Hideous. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 63.27.21.188 (talk) 18:06, 4 April 2007 (UTC).
- I apologize for my previous snide remark which was deleted by another editor. However, I would remind us all that accusing other editors of satanic motives is not particularly constructive. I would also remind folks to remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors. Characterizing their edits as Satanic could be intrepretted as a personal attack. If other editors are questioning the subject's notability, it is incumbant upon the editor asserting notability to document that subject's notability according to wikipedia standards. The photo may have been deleted due to copyright violations which are a frequent problem when uploading photos. Be sure to review the wikipedia section on photograph issues. User Dwain seems to have the most interest in this subject and I would encourage him/her to consider adding that info back but with appropriate citations from reliable sources using WP:RS as a guide. In addition, I replaced the ID of the above comment that was removed in the last edit. -The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lisapollison 09:15, 19 April 2007
- Thanks Dwain, for making sure folks knew it was me above! I can't believe I forgot to sign my post after adding back someone else's ID to an unsigned comment. Oops! :-)LiPollis 23:41, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
