My fellow National Conference football fans. Please speak up and add your opinions with regards to the deletion of current and former Tamworth players.

Ytny is trying to get as many player pages deleted as possible. I believe he must be either a Burton Albion or Nuneaton Borough fan, this would give some form of an explaination for what he is doing.

Now most of these players have played in the top three English football leagues and yes even in some of the recent FA Cup games, but this is not going to save them if Ytny gets his way.

I understand some of the people who will be reading this are not a Tamworth fan, but please look at it this way, next time it could be your team, so please show your support.

Tamworth is now full time football club, not part time, so why are these players even be considered for deletion?

Hopefully Wikipedia will be around in the next 50/100+ years and I think some of these pages could be educational for the future generations. These players are part of history don't let some people spoil it for me and you, and the future generations.

Thanks for reading my friends. Jonesy702 22:45, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Bampton counts as notable as he played league games for Swindon. If a player has only played in the Conference or below then the guidelines state that they have to go (not that I agree with that and won't prod them myself). The rule at the moment is to have played in a fully professional league i.e. you need to get a few more to go full-time and you're sorted. Either way, it's not a candidate for speedy deletion.
